Help & FAQ
How do I calculate 15% VAT in Saudi Arabia?
Add VAT by multiplying by 1.15. To take it out of a price that includes VAT, divide by 1.15, which is the same as taking 15/115 of the total. For 1,150 riyals that gives 1,000 plus 150 riyals of VAT.
Do I need e-invoicing?
Taxable persons resident in the Kingdom must issue invoices electronically under ZATCA rules, with phased integration (Phase 2) for businesses in announced waves. Check ZATCA for your wave and date.
What is the difference between a tax invoice and a simplified tax invoice?
See the Invoice Requirements by Country tool for the ZATCA list, including when a simplified invoice may be used.
